Our Sexton Energy Des Plaines Landfill Gas Collection and Destruction Project was validated under the Voluntary Carbon Standard (VCS) in October.  In November, one batch of emission reductions from the project were verified as Voluntary Carbon Units (VCUs).  More than 150,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions were avoided by this project in 2007, 2008 and the first several months of 2009. VCUs have been issued into our account with the Markit Registry, and -- as of December 17 - we have transferred more than 40,000 to customers. There is significant interest in the remaining volume and future vintages as well.
