AtmosClear was set up in 2003 to work in association with other organizations to participate in the voluntary and compliance carbon markets.  Since then, we have grown and diversified into related green business sectors.  We continue to work in the carbon markets, both compliance and voluntary.  In addition, we work closely with project developers whose goals are to promote cleaner and greener sources of energy, particularly electricity and fuels. Finally, we help suppliers of biomass fuels to reap the benefits of growing demand for biomass fuels as substitutes for fossil fuels in certain sectors. The use of biomass as a feedstock for energy production offers the advantages of reducing reliance on fossil fuels imported from outside of North America and giving farmers and other land managers the opportunity to create jobs and diversify their sources of income while producing clean energy for businesses and consumers.

Compliance and Voluntary Market Emission Reduction Projects 

Our project-related skills are focused primarily on:

• Assisting renewable energy and emission reduction project developers to access the carbon markets, including to determine which market will yield the greatest volume(s) and sales;
• Assisting sellers of emission reductions from selected carbon offset projects to market their emission reductions;
• Assisting renewable energy project developers for electricity and other fuels to obtain capital for project investments; 
• Providing a cost-competitive, performance-based structured procurement services for a handful of buyers in the North American compliance markets;
• Facilitating the development and growth of a carbon labelling program to offset full life-cycle emissions for manufactured products sold in North America; and
• With our partners in the USA and Canada, to develop forestry projects to supply emission reductions into the  voluntary and compliance carbon markets.

AtmosClear Climate Club

Our Climate Club program is available for use by organizational partners as both an educational and an affinity/rewards program for their customers, members and/or staff. AtmosClear Climate Club can partner with companies and other organizations so that they may use the AtmosClear Climate Club and/or our Rewards for the Planet to differentiate their offerings from those of competitors. Rewards programs provide a potential source of revenues for partners when sales of memberships can be attributed to their marketing efforts and/or members demand for specific partner offers or discounts. These revenues can be used to cover partial costs for partners marketing, merchandising and/or public relations programs or environmental or social programs.

Customers who purchase offsets via the Climate Club receive an AtmosClear certificate with serial numbers confirming that VERs have been purchased in their name and an UndoYourCO2 sticker. AtmosClear Memberships also include other promotional collateral such as refrigerator magnet and a member benefits card to take advantage of discounts or special offers provided by AtmosClear Climate Club partners who are concerned about global warming and climate protection.
