AtmosClear and AtmosClear Climate Club, owned by CoolClimate LLC and AtmosClear Canada Inc., operate in the voluntary market and offer to consumers, companies and other organizations high-quality, independently verified reductions of greenhouse gas emissions from projects around the world.
AtmosClear helps companies and other organizations to design corporate social/environmental responsibility programs focused on climate change with an emphasis on educating and engaging organizations and their staff and consumers. We can help, as well, with implementing these programs, and provide ongoing support depending on need.
AtmosClear’s team has worked in the emission reductions & carbon offset market and renewables market since the early 1990s, including advisory work to companies, governments and other organizations, setting up multi-million dollar carbon purchase facilities, due diligence and negotiating purchases in the Kyoto Protocol (CDM & JI) and VER markets. AtmosClear’s experienced team specializes in the technical aspects of emission reduction projects and programs, and marketing including direct-to-consumer and corporate marketing and rewards programs.
AtmosClear works with organizations in various ways to:
- Bring supplies of emission reductions to the growing voluntary market for VERs
- Help increase awareness of climate change and global warming and implications for the organization and relevant stakeholders
- Improve understanding of their source of emissions, and ways to reduce these at sources and/or through other initiatives such as investments in technology or offsetting
- Enhance corporate public relations, marketing, promotions, and social and environmental programs
- Engage individuals, organizations and members and companies and their customers to reduce emissions and support renewable resources
- Reward customers/members for “doing their part”
We have offered, or are currently offering, for different clients:
- advice on, and access to, GHG inventory and carbon footprinting services, including tools for managing information for continuous improvement/reductions over time
- support for preparing the necessary documentation to enable project owners to monetize emissions reductions from eligible projects
- a member/affinity program
- co-branding
- our own VER shopping cart
- a customized VER/offset shopping cart for a partner
- offsets for consumers (direct sales and sales through corporate partners)
- offsets for corporate customers (non-profits, companies) for business activities and certain events
- supply of offsets for carbon neutral product and services
- VER marketing services and
- supply of VERs/offsets for other retailers/wholesalers.
We want everyone to have access to VERs to offset emissions, if they need them. Therefore, we also offer private-label services, where we do the back-office fulfillment and VER account management work for partner organizations. We will we cross-license with like-minded partners, and are open to licensing "climate club" for use by qualified partners. This could include partnering to build out our social networking efforts that are under development.
